The Andaman Cabriolet : The Composite Cats team
Grenville Fordham
Grenville, a British expat, is the rights owner and organiser of Six Senses Phuket Raceweek (www.phuketraceweek.com), was the founder of PIMEX (Phuket International Marine Expo - Thailand's first international boatshow) and is the publisher of Southeast Asia Pilot (www.southeastasiapilot.com).
He is Commodore of the Ao Chalong Yacht Club and was a founding member (and an early Chairman) of the Marine Alliance of Thailand (forerunner of Thai Marine Business Association). His background embraces hotel & tourism management, international marketing, property development and publishing. His main roles with Composite Cats are in market positioning, promotion, communications, financial control and contract issues, but he also brings a different perspective to many aspects of the Andaman Cabriolet’s design.
While unable yet to claim ‘thousands of miles’ at sea, Grenville has become passionate about sailing since arriving in Phuket 14 years ago.
Bob Mott
Bob joined the Composite Catamarans team as Project Manager. His previous experience in production planning, inventory control and international freight logistics includes stints with DuPont Australia, Agfa Gevaert Diagnostics and Biesdorf Medical.
More recently (actually for the last 26 years) Bob has gained a wealth of experience in the marine industry, covering supply, logistics, design, boat building and international yacht deliveries. A former committee member of the Thai Marine Business Association and current Treasurer of the British Business Association Phuket, Bob was also a founding partner in Faraway Yachting Co., Ltd., a regional yacht charter company. Bob is an Australian expat who has been living and working with boats in Phuket for 15 years.
Bob's role with Composite Cats embraces sourcing, logistics, production planning, project supervision and progress chasing. Bob's over-riding objective is to get every Andaman Cabriolet to launch on time, whilst maintaining the high quality of build that is a Composite Catamarans hallmark.
Supaporn Banjongpas
As a company director, Supaporn’s main role is to keep a couple of enthusiasts in line and within budget.
Nittaya Khongmai
Company director and administration manager, Nittaya’s role is to keep the machinery oiled and running smoothly in every department − and to make sure the bills are paid.
